I am pleased to announce the appointment of Revd Patrick Parkes as an Associate Priest in our Mission Community. Patrick will take up his role at the end March/beginning of April following working out his 3 months notice in his existing post. He will move into Yelverton Rectory prior to his formal start with us so we look forward to welcoming Patrick and his wife Viv some time in the New Year when all the details have been finalised.

Patrick will be combining his role with us with a training position with South West Ministry Training Course, which concentrates on the formation and training of Readers.

Patrick brings with him a wealth of experience from many years of ministry, which latterly has led him to ordination in the Church of England. His recent roles have included that of Diocesan Stewardship Advisor as well as spending time at the Cathedral.

A date for his licensing will be announced in due course.
