The Rt Rev Robert, Lord Bishop of Exeter has been visiting the Deanery over the last few days, encouraging us in our prayer, helping us to think about our mission and how we serve people with joy.
The visit has been a mixture of set piece meetings and informal gatherings. At St Paul’s Yelverton the Bishop heard of our experience as a Deanery of Mission as he joined in a [email protected] style meal and heard from various people about what is happening in the parishes and mission communities.
The Bishop also spoke at a men’s breakfast at eat@joe’s cafe in Tavistock.
He set out the vision for the Diocese at a meeting in Tavistock and spoke on renewing prayer at Milton Abbot.
